It looks like a painting with red birds flying down the horizont.
That's what I thought when I saw this photo for the first time ^^*
What I like is the angle you chose. Earth and sky are in a good contrast.So are light and shadow. The whole photo looks like a short moment of a motion which happened right in front of you.
A really beautiful photo.
It has something dreamy-like (if that word exists ^^*). Maybe you could try to make a photo during the night from exactly the same angle.
